Introduction
Fitness Timer is designed to be local-first. It has no developer account system, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, or custom backend. The app does not sell personal information.
Data Stored on Your Device
Your workout plans, custom exercises, workout history, settings, and related app data are stored on your device. You control that local data through the app and your device settings.
Optional iCloud Sync
Pro users can choose to sync selected workout plans, custom exercises, and workout history using Apple CloudKit in the user’s private iCloud database. Sync is optional and requires an iCloud account.
By default, private CloudKit content is owned by and available only to you. It counts against your iCloud storage quota and is not visible in the developer portal. Apple provides the iCloud service subject to its own terms and privacy practices.
Purchases
Fitness Timer offers optional Pro purchases through Apple StoreKit. Apple processes payments and purchase records; Hanbin Wang does not receive your payment-card data. Apple may provide purchase or entitlement information needed for the app to unlock or restore Pro features.
Support Communications
If you email support, we receive the email address you use, the contents of your message, and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use this information only to respond to and resolve your support request. Please do not send sensitive health, payment-card, or other unnecessary personal information.
Data We Do Not Collect
The app does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. It does not use a developer account system or custom backend, and it does not collect your workout data for the developer’s own use. This site has no forms, cookies, remote fonts, analytics, or third-party JavaScript.
Retention and Deletion
Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app, subject to your device and backup settings. You can turn optional iCloud sync off without deleting local data.
The app’s Delete iCloud Data action disables sync and removes the app’s private CloudKit zone. It retains your on-device data. Deletion is subject to Apple’s processing and any applicable backup or recovery behavior. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed to respond to and maintain the support record, unless a longer period is required by law.
Security
We use the security controls supplied by iOS, StoreKit, and CloudKit for the features described above. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
Fitness Timer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information through support email, contact us so we can address the request.
International Users
The app may be used outside the United States. Optional iCloud sync and App Store purchases are provided by Apple and may involve processing under Apple’s applicable terms and privacy practices. Your mandatory local privacy and consumer rights remain unaffected where they apply.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app’s data practices or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date.
